Nick started his baseball career at West Springfield Little League.
Like so many of us, friendships and memories were formed spending weekends
at Byron Park. It is something near and dear to his heart.
WSLL has offered great support throughout Nick's journey after his accident.
Nick plans to be part of this year's opening ceremony this Saturday.

NICK BALENGER SPEAKS AT KINGS GLEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL...
Nick was invited to speak at an assembly at a local elementary school. He addressed close to 500 students. Here is some inspiration he shared with the students...
"I thought my life was over, I wouldn’t be able to do anything I had done before. The path of my life was turned upside down. But little did I know, my life wasn’t over, it was beginning again. I wasn’t tied down to any set paths that I was on. I was free to do whatever I wanted and be whoever I wanted to be."
